Counsellors
The Inner Care Counselling Service operate in the health centre. They will assess patients with a wide range of difficulties and either provide a series of up to ten sessions of counselling by a member of their own team, or advice patients about other counselling and support services in the local community
They only accept referrals from other health care professionals
Bristol Drugs Project Liaison Counsellors
The Bristol Drugs Project liaison counsellors provide advice on medication, support, motivation to change, and co-ordination with other services within the BDP and beyond, to help patients with heroin dependence.
They will only see patients who are referred to them by one of the doctors.
Welfare Benefits Advisors
The Welfare Benefits Advisors come from the Citizens Advice Bureau to work in the health centre on two days per week to help patients who are having difficulties with benefits.
