Malcolm Price Dr Malcolm Price MB BS 1979, MRCGP, DCH, DRCOG

Dr Price has been in practice in Charlotte Keel for over twenty five years. He has a particular interest in mental health, paediatrics, musculo-skeletal medicine and acupuncture. He also has an interest in medical politics and is an LMC member.
 
Jo Fleming Dr Jo Fleming MB ChB 1975, MRCGP, DRCOG, DCH, DFFP

Dr Jo Fleming has also been with the practice for more than twenty five years, and was a GP Trainee here prior to that. She has an interest in counselling, psychosocial medicine and palliative care. She is Family Planning trained. She has been an approved GP trainer but has decided to step back from this recently. She is, however, eager to encourage those still at school to consider medicine as a career, and, to this end, is involved with the local Severn branch of the RCGP in promoting work experience for sixth formers.
 
 
Kate Nicholls Dr Kate Nicholls MB ChB 1978, MRCGP, DRCOG

Dr Nicholls has been with the practice for over 20 years. She has a special interest in doctor-patient communication, teaching this at the university, and she is the doctor most involved in arranging under-graduate teaching for medical students at the practice. She is one of the partners who deals with staffing issues, including interviewing and appointing staff.
 
Ruth Muir Dr Ruth Muir MB ChB 1984, DRCOG, DFFP

Dr Muir has been in the practice for almost twenty years. She has a particular expertise in Family Planning and Sexual Health; she and Dr Everard are the two GPs in the practice who fit IUCDs (coils). She also has an interest in staff management and with Dr Nicholls she works as the staff liaison members of the partnership.
 
Peter Allen Dr Peter Allen MB BS 1985, MA, MRCGP, DRCOG, DCH, DTM&H, DFFP, Cert Med Ed 

Dr Allen has been with the practice since 1995. He particularly enjoys working in a multicultural environment. He has special interests in childrens’ health and drug dependence. He has been a trainer since 2004 and is the lead GP trainer in the practice for the GP registrar.
 
David Soodeen Dr David Soodeen MB BCh 1993, MRCGP, DRCOG, DGM, MLCOM, COBC

Dr Soodeen joined the practice in 1998. He has skills in musculoskeletal medicine and runs a regular weekly clinic which includes joint injections, manipulation and acupuncture. He has a particular interest in Sports Medicine and is a keen cricketer and footballer.
 
Shaba Nabi Dr Shaba Nabi MB BS 1992, BSc, MRCP, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFFP 

Dr Nabi is our newest doctor partner, joining in 2007. She is a dynamic new force in the partnership, she has expertise in all things medical, she is the practice lead for prescribing, and she became a GP trainer in 2009. She has additional language skills being a Punjabi and Urdu speaker.
 
Tahira Waraich Dr Tahira Waraich BM 1996, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFFP 

Dr Waraich is a salaried GP who has been here for many years and who has particularly valuable experience and cultural insight. She has additional language skills, speaking Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi. She is a very enthusiastic GP trainer who has been involved in teaching medical students since 2006 and training junior doctors since 2008.
 
Grace Everard Dr Grace Everard MB BS 2000, BSc (Hons), MRCGP, MRCPCH, DRCOG, DFFP

Dr Everard is our newest salaried GP. She has special interests in paediatrics, women’s health and contraception; she has practical expertise in fitting IUCDs (coils) and is the only doctor in the practice who fits (implanon) contraceptive implants. She is also very active in teaching medical students and training of junior doctors at the practice.

Additional doctors 


We also have up to three junior doctors working for us in their foundation or registrar years. These are fully qualified doctors, who have been working for a least a year and often much more, and who are with us for a period of time to learn specifically about working in general practice.
