Appointments

We work hard to make as many appointments available as we can. However, demand for appointments often outstrips supply.  Please try to do your bit by considering other sources of advice and support, so that appointments are available for those who need them. For instance NHS Direct give good advice about colds, sore throats, coughs and other common ailments, your local pharmacist can advise you about these issues too, there is a walk-in centre at the BRI, and injuries should be dealt with at A&E departments.

If you can’t make it to an appointment, please phone up to cancel as soon as possible so it can be made available to somebody else.

Appointments may be made by:

  • telephoning 0117 902 7145 or 0117 902 7155 or
  • by calling at the surgery.
  • We now also offer appointments on-line by using our online booking service

Most of our appointments are released in the morning to allow you to see the doctor or nurse on the same day – these are made available from 8am on each week day.

To enable us to offer you a appointment at a time most suitable to your requirements we do make some appointments available in advance.
We are now able to offer some appointments on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, aimed particularly for working people who aren’t able to get to appointments in the week – these are available up to a week in advance.
